Crystal Cruises launches first TV campaign in more than a decade

Global itineraries and unparalleled luxury are the centerpieces of new broadcast advertising campaign

In the midst of one of the most significant lifestyle and travel brand expansions in history, Crystal, the Most Luxurious Travel and Lifestyle Brand Portfolio, is returning to the air waves with its first television ad campaign since 2004 to spread the word about its ever growing portfolio of luxury travel experiences.

The two 60-second spots highlight the award-winning Crystal Cruises ocean voyages, and the recently launched Crystal River Cruises, showcasing stunning visual images of the worldwide destinations visited by Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Mozart.


Each will run on cable news channels CNN and Fox News leading up to and immediately following the Presidential Election, capitalizing on already heightened viewing audiences.

As the company prepares for an exponential expansion of its brand and fleet over the next five years, the current ad placement presents an opportunity to introduce the Crystal family of experiences to new travelers.

The Crystal Cruises spot focuses on the world-class onboard experience that has earned the company’s ocean vessels top accolades for more than two decades, honing in on the fine dining, open public spaces, celebrated butler service and luxurious spa featured aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. Sweeping, aerial shots of some of the coveted destinations visited on the ocean voyages entice travelers, including the fabled Northwest Passage, ancient ruins in South America and architectural wonders like the Taj Mahal.

Focusing on the groundbreaking industry standard set by the launch of Crystal Mozart, Crystal River Cruises ad highlights the elegant amenities that make it the World’s Only Luxury River Cruise Line. Views of the Crystal Life Spa, rooftop pop-up bar, stylish lounges and spacious butler-serviced suites illustrate Crystal’s poignant entrance into the river cruising industry.

Both ads underline Crystal’s “All Exclusive” branding, which launched earlier this year and embodies the company’s all-inclusive offerings of superlative onboard amenities and global experiences that are exclusive to Crystal.

“Our aim with these new TV spots, as with our brand campaign and the expansion of our brand itself, is to capture the adventurous spirit, discerning preferences and cravings for new experiences that luxury world travelers share,” says Rodriguez.
