California: Plane crashes and bursts into flames

A woman crawled from one of the houses with her clothes on fire, reported witnesses, saying she was the pilot of an aircraft that crashed into two homes in Southern California.

A Cessna 310 crashed into two houses shortly after it took off from Riverside Municipal Airport. The plane was heading to San Jose.

According to reports, at least one person has died and five were injured. Fire Captain Tyler Reynolds of Riverside stated that there were four people on board. It was not clear if the person who died was in one of the houses or on the plane.

It is not yet known what caused the plane to crash.
