Airberlin welcomes new Vice President of Customer Experience and Innovation Division

Elisabeth Jesse will become Vice President of airberlin's Customer Experience and Innovation Division

To further strengthen airberlin’s Commercial Division, Elisabeth Jesse will become Vice President of airberlin’s Customer Experience and Innovation Division at the beginning of July. Her main task will be to promote innovative service and customer offers as part of the transformation of airberlin. Elisabeth Jesse will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, Götz Ahmelmann, who joined airberlin from Etihad at the beginning of March.

CCO, Götz Ahmelmann, said of the appointment: “Elisabeth Jesse is a proven expert in customer-focused processes, services and communication. She will deliver an excellent contribution to making our products and airberlin more innovative and attractive for all our customers. Her high standards of service quality and customer focus are excellently suited to airberlin.”

Elisabeth Jesse most recently worked as Head of Sales Central Europe at easyJet. After completing a hotel management apprenticeship and Business Studies degree in Germany and the US, she began her aviation career at Lufthansa Group, from where she moved to easyJet in 2015.
