Alitalia halts flights to Reggio di Calabria

On March 26, Alitalia will end its three-times daily flights for Rome-Reggio di Calabria.

From the opposing side of the swinging pendulum, the airline will begin flights on a Rome-New York JFK route. This seasonal route schedule will begin during the fall from September 10 to October 22 on Sundays.

Alitalia is Italy’s flag carrier with its head office in Fiumicino, Rome, Italy. The name of the airline, Alitalia, means wings (ali) of Italy (Italia).

Its main hub is at Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome, with a secondary hub in Milan Linate Airport.
