It’s almost show time for Tropika Island Seychelles

Today, Monday, March 27, will see the seventh season of the South African reality TV series, Tropika Island of Treasure, hit television screens across the nation, and this time it will use the Indian Ocean islands of Seychelles as host destination.

The latest installment of the series will officially kick off on March 27 and will be featured on SABC 3 with a scheduled time slot of 1930 hours.

The show will see seven of South Africa’s hottest celebrities paired with a Tropika consumer to form seven “smooth teams” to participate in the competition on the tropical islands of the Seychelles. The contestants will be pushed to their limits and test their newly-formed relationships as each team strives to outdo one another and win the R1 million grand prize.

The show’s host is Minnie Dlamini (winner of SABC 1’s LIVE presenter search) and the Games Master is Top Billings presenter, Jonathan Boynton-Lee. The celebrity contestants for the seventh installment include Siv Ngesi, Zakeeya Patel, Maurice Paige, Karlien van Jaarsveld, EmTee, Anga Makubalo, and Jessica Nkosi.

Says Lena Horeau of the Seychelles Tourism Board: “We are so excited about the new season of Tropika Island of Treasure Seychelles. With the beautiful Seychelles as host destination, the seventh installment of the show promises to be even more exciting and intriguing.”
