Antigua and Barbuda celebrate success of 5th annual Antigua Barbuda Showcase with over 150 attendees

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority with the Antigua Hotels and Tourist Association successfully hosted the 5th annual “Showcase Antigua Barbuda,” on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in St. John’s, Antigua with over 150 attendees, including over 10 buyers from the US. This is following upon the previous four successful years for the travel industry business-to-business event. The Antigua Barbuda Showcase is an intensive meeting and informational event for wholesalers, tour operators from around the world to meet with regional suppliers of the Eastern Caribbean tourism industry. In addition to featuring local suppliers from Antigua and Barbuda, the event included suppliers from Guadeloupe and Nevis and international travel trade media.

Showcase Antigua and Barbuda attracts over 35 major tour operators from North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, providing an amazing opportunity for tour operators worldwide to converge, discuss business partnerships directly with hotel owners from the region. It served as a unique opportunity for the over 26 local suppliers to provide updates on their services and properties firsthand, especially with buyers from the key markets including the US, Canada, UK and Europe to ensure the upcoming year is a success for tourism.
