Atlanta airport issues ground stop

A ground stop is in place at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Georgia, USA, due to severe thunderstorms, reported the FAA.

Heavy rains and possible thunderstorms are affecting the area and may bring gusty winds and possibly even isolated tornadoes.


Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the world. It is a global gateway, offering nonstop service to more than 150 domestic and nearly 70 international destinations.
