Audi luxury cars to shuttle VIPs at Hamad International Airport

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has welcomed the brand-new fleet of Audi luxury cars that will be consigned to shuttle VIPs.

The premium fleet includes the Audi Q7, RS 6 Avant and A8 L.

The announcement was made at a special handover ceremony, which was attended by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker; Chief Operating Officer of HIA, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer; Audi AG – Vice President of Overseas Sales, Terrence Johnson; and Audi Middle East – Brand Director, Enrico Atanasio.

Celebrating 35 years of quattro, the all-new Q7, which will be part of the HIA fleet, is a combination of trend-setting design and precision dynamics. The model’s 45 TFSI engine offers a power output of 333hp, achieving an acceleration 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. The RS 6 Avant, with its impressive exterior, sporty fenders and striking air vents with side flaps. And a V8 engine that triggers a unique roar and features the best in range acceleration speeds, reaching a maximum of 305 km/h.
