Baltia Air Lines names new General Counsel

Baltia Air Lines announced today that it has appointed Mr. George W. Kelsey of the Kelsey Law Group, P.C. as General Counsel.

Mr. Kelsey will be responsible for overseeing and advising the company on all business related legal matters.  Baltia’s President, Mr. Anthony D. Koulouris stated “I am very pleased that George has agreed to join the Baltia team.”


Mr. Kelsey’s legal career spans more than three decades. In that time, he has developed a reputation for being a national expert in aviation law. Since 1970, Mr. Kelsey has been in private practice with extensive experience in commercial aviation law and business enterprise organization.

Mr. Kelsey holds a B.A., B.S. degree from Wayne State University and a J.D. degree from the University of Detroit School of Law.  Mr. Kelsey has several years of experience in litigation, both in State and Federal Courts.  His firm specializes in all facets of aviation law, including complex commercial litigation.  His primary focus has been on aircraft-related transactions, such as aircraft sales and purchases, leasing, engine and maintenance agreements, deicing, ground handling, etc.



Mr. Kelsey has negotiated extensive international aircraft-related contracts in countries such as Japan, Australia, Kuwait, India, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Tunisia, Morocco, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Mexico.
