Benchmark, a global hospitality company, has named Patricia E. Berry general manager for the Ames Boston Hotel.
The luxury property, located near major downtown Boston attractions, is part of Benchmark’s prestigious Gemstone Collection. Jeff McIntyre, Benchmark’s co-president, made the announcement.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Trish to our company,” said Mr. McIntyre. “She brings solid on-property and executive experience to her new role, in addition to remarkable natural gifts of leadership and team mentoring.”
Patricia Berry is a veteran hotelier, having invested over two decades of her distinguished career with Ritz Carlton, both in guest service positions and eventually corporate management, serving as a corporate trainer opening 15 properties. Ms. Berry also held senior leadership positions for Hotel Monaco of Washington, DC, and most recently served as general manager of the Battery Wharf Hotel of Boston.
Ms. Berry is a graduate of Clemson University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in education. She resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
