Beverly Hills is calling tourists from India

Beverly Hills of California, USA, is working to promote travel to its famed destination to tourists from India. At present, it is in the top 20 generating tourist markets, but the destination wants to be in the top 10. Efforts are paying off as Beverly Hills has seen an impressive rise in tourist numbers.

The top brass of the Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau was in Delhi, India, on April 28 to reveal the many attractions and campaigns of the destination, including an upcoming focus on health and wellness.

CEO of the Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau Julie Wagner and Vice President of Business Development Mary Saunders De Hoyos said that flight connectivity had improved. There are many activities for tourists, including shopping, dining, cultural attractions, as well as the possibility of holding meetings and conventions in the area’s five-star hotels, many of which can hold meetings for up to 1,500 people.

Also sure to entice tourists is the near proximity of Universal Studios which is just 7.5 miles from Beverly Hills, and the LA airport just 11 miles away. The beaches of Santa Monica are also only 10 miles from Beverly Hills.

For those who like to shop, or merely see where the wealthy like to shop, or just like to watch the rich shop, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills attracts many visitors to its stylish luxury stores and shops.
