Orbitz has combined its application programming interface (API) capabilities and inventory of its suppliers with the iSeatz OneView platform. This exclusive partnership aims to develop customized private label and in-path travel solutions.

As part of the agreement, the online travel company will give customers of existing iSeatz partners including Delta Air Lines, KLM/Air France, and Amtrak, the ability to book travel products through the Orbitz Worldwide global network of suppliers.

“As ancillary revenue development becomes a critical priority for airlines around the world, the Orbitz-iSeatz, in-path solution offers airlines the ability to massively increase their hotel and car attachment versus the industry’s existing, outdated solutions,” said Barney Harford, president and CEO of Orbitz Worldwide.

He added that the combination provides partners “with the most flexible and customizable private label solution in the marketplace today.”

Some of the key benefits of this partnership include:

•Fully customizable offering built to meet partner’s exact specifications

•Complete control over the user experience, presentation of supplier’s inventory and sort order

•Ability for suppliers to integrate ancillary products via an in-path cross-sell within the primary supplier booking path in a single, seamless checkout process
