China Airlines: In with the new, out with the slow

China Airlines is adding a fifth weekly flight to Malaysia on its Taipei Taoyuan-Penang route beginning May 2017. Service will be conducted on Sundays via a 737-800.

As this fifth flight comes into play, Guam’s fifth weekly flight will be dropped starting May 14. The Taipei Taoyuan-Guam route will see this flight end, with the exception of May 28 when a Boeing 737-800 is scheduled run.

China Airlines is a large company with over 12,000 employees, and it is the country’s flag carrier and largest airline of China. It is headquartered at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, one of its hubs, along with Kaohsiung International Airport. The airline flies 97 aircraft: 76 passenger jets and 21 freighters.
