More flights and bigger aircraft for Korean Air’s summer service

Korean Air is getting ready to welcome more passengers onboard for the summer season with bigger aircraft and more flights.

The airline is updating its Boeing 747-400 air service for the summer. It will be using a 365-seater on its Seoul Gimpo-Jeju route from June 1 through September 14, and a 404-seater aircraft on its routes to Seoul Gimpo-Jeju, Seoul Gimpo-Shanghai, Seoul Incheon-Bangkok, Seoul Incheon-Beijing, and Seoul Incheon-Shanghai Pu Dong.

Additionally, the airline plans to increase its Seoul Incheon-Barcelona service from 3 to 4 weekly flights onboard a 787-9 aircraft, as well as a daily flight on it Seoul Incheon-Vancouver route.

A larger aircraft will be used during the summer for its Seoul Incheon-Madrid and Seoul Incheon-Toronto routes, changing from a 787-9 to a 789.
