France Ambassador to India talks tourism in New Delhi

The Ambassador of France to India, Alexandre Ziegler, has expressed confidence that tourism ties between India and France will continue to grow.

The envoy said in New Delhi on February 24 that everywhere he went in India, he saw French tourists. The love for France in India was reflected in the large number of visitors going to see the attractions of the country.

Ziegler was speaking at the release of the new edition of the Bon Voyage book, written by three teachers at the Alliance Francaise New Delhi and published by Goyal Foreign Language Books, authored by Malini Gupta, Usha Ramachandran, and Vasanthi Gupta.

Bon Voyage is a textbook which includes a 160-hour program on CDs, and is designed to teach elementary French to adults working in the hotel and tourism industry.

The event was held at the Ambassador’s residence and attended by a select gathering.
