Germany’s only international luxury hotels show ready to commence in Frankfurt

They are sitting on packed suitcases. In less than two weeks Germany’s only luxury exhibition “loop – luxury on our planet” opens its doors for 100 international renowned hoteliers, hotel owners and providers of tourist luxury products.

From March 26th to 29th, 2017, they will meet with 100 interested buyers from the DACH markets in Frankfurt am Main. The exhibition has established itself over the past three years as the most important B2B event in the German luxury tourism market. Among this year’s suppliers are the Swiss Baur au Lac, the Gran Canarian Casa Leon, the Shangri La Hotels and Virtuoso – the network of the best luxury travel agencies worldwide.

Baur au Lac: The precise clockwork of exclusive hospitality

Switzerland is known as the origin of exclusive hospitality. The world’s highest standards were set and still maintain and enjoy international prestige to this day. One of the oldest grand hotels in Switzerland is the famous Baur au Lac.

Set in its own picturesque park, the Baur au Lac overlooks both the lake and the Alps and yet is only a few minutes’ walk from Zurich’s financial district and the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping street. Discerning international guests value its attentive personal service, luxurious accommodation, sumptuous restaurants and magnificent banqueting facilities – and have done so for over 170 years. Following major renovations there are now 120 luxuriously appointed and individually decorated rooms and suites. The Baur au Lac offers the ultimate in contemporary elegance, evoking the intimate atmosphere of a private home. The elegant Restaurant Pavillon is internationally renowned for classic French dining and outstanding wines, awarded with 1 Michelin star and 18 points by Gault Millau. Guest are welcomed to indulge on the Terrasse with the own private park overlooking lake Zurich and the Swiss Alps, enjoying one of the signature cocktails such as the “Rhubarb panther” along with a light lunch or dinner.
