Greater Toronto Airports Authority announces Chief Financial Officer transition

Howard Eng, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), announced today that Jill Sharland, the GTAA’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the GTAA effective March 23, 2017.

The GTAA’s Board of Directors has appointed Ian Clarke as the GTAA’s interim Chief Financial Officer, effective April 10, 2017. Mr. Clarke has served as a Director of the GTAA since 2012, including as a member and Chair of its Audit Committee. Mr. Clarke has resigned from the GTAA’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Clarke formerly served as Chief Financial Officer at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd. until his retirement on December 31, 2016. Mr. Clarke will serve as Chief Financial Officer while the GTAA is conducting a search for a new Chief Financial Officer.

Jason Boyd, the GTAA’s Corporate Controller, will serve as Acting Vice President and Chief Financial Officer until Mr. Clarke assumes his new role on April 10, 2017.
