Hahn Air’s Jörg Troester re-elected to UATP Board of Directors

For the third time in a row, Jörg Troester, Head of Corporate Strategy, Industry and Government Affairs at Hahn Air, has been re-appointed as a board member of Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP). Since 2000, the UATP board of directors, with ten members elected from a pool of shareholder airlines, serves as the governing body for the corporation. The new board will assemble for the first time at the UATP conference “Airline Distribution 2017” which takes place in Hong Kong on 21st and 22nd March.

With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Troester is an expert in the field of airline distribution and the author of various white papers which have significantly influenced industry relevant legislation. He is a member of the board of European Regions Airline Association (ERA) and also represents Hahn Air at various IATA conferences.

“I am very honoured to continue serving UATP as a member of the board to support one of the oldest card payment networks in the world in its future development to be the first choice of payment for airlines and their corporate customers”, says Troester.
