A man has died as the result of tree falling on his home in Greensboro, Florida, today during Hurricane Michael.
Officials have been challenged with communication as telephones and radio have gone down. It was reported, however, that an injury occurred in Gadsden County.
Hurricane Michael has downgraded to a category 2 storm with winds still being recorded at a powerful 100 miles per hour. The storm is currently tracking towards Albany, Georgia.
As the evening wears on, possible tornadoes are anticipated as well as flash floods and strong winds.
