The president of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) Professior Geoffrey Lipman yesterday issued a statement published by eTN predicting Hillary Clinton to be the next US President. 24 hours ago I wrote an editorial saying there were three reasons why i hoped and believed that Hilary Clinton would be the next President of the United States.
Today the ICTP president said this after learning about Donald Trump to be the president elect in the United States.
He wrote:
I was wrong on two counts – as that great Nobel Laureate said “The times they are a changing” – no decency in politics and no break in the glass ceiling.
But on the third count I was not wrong – Climate Change is still existential – and we now have a denier as leader of the free world.
So we now have to take up the battle for the future of our planet with renewed vigour. The clock is still ticking – only it’s much louder now.
