The program saw some 21 students receiving HEART/NTA certification as Commercial Food Preparation Level 2 Chefs. They also received Team Jamaica training in tourism, service delivery, and product knowledge.
Funding for the initiative is provided by the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF).
