October is in, which means the jazz motives will again fill the air of Azerbaijani capital.
On October 22-30, 2016, the Baku international jazz festival will again gather together the most famous jazz celebrities. Azerbaijani capital will witness the performances of Gabriel Grossi Trio (Brazil), Plunge (Sweden), Antonio Lizana Group (Spain), Pierre de Tregomain Quartet (France), Takumi’s Trick With Asian Friends (Japan), Omar (Great Britain) and many others.
The main venues of the event are Mugham Center, Rotunda Jazz Club, Art Club and the State Philarmonic. The festival envisages for numerous master-classes, seminars, jam sessions, contests, workshops and other art events.
The Baku International Jazz Festival has been held every October in Azerbaijan since 2002. The festival involves both foreign and local musicians. It is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
