Kuwai’s NAS aims providing more services for premium airline passengers

Kuwait’s National Aviation Services (www.nas.aero) has been providing premium departure lounge services at the Kigali International Airport since 2011, when the Pearl Lounge initially opened before being tripled in size as the airport underwent expansion and modernization in subsequent years.

The company, also active in four other African countries besides a strong presence in the Middle East, is now reportedly working on the completion of a premium arrivals lounge for First and Business Class passengers ending their journey in Kigali. Shower and concierge facilities, in addition to ‘regular‘ lounge amenities, will be available to freshen up before starting the transfer into the city or beyond.

Notably is the company not only employing an all Rwandan team in Kigali but also has Rwandans working as expatriates in their Kuwait and other Gulf operations and is reportedly keen to recruit yet more, giving career opportunities to young people from the Land of a Thousand Hills.
