LGBT Confex set for 6th Annual International Business & Tourism Forum

LGBT Confex International Business & Tourism Forum will provide a meeting place for professionals and suppliers who see the LGBT community as an important market segment, as well as for businesses that offer an inclusive workplace

LGBT Confex’s sixth edition of its International Business & Tourism Forum is set to take place in Mexico City’s World Trade Center from October 26 to 27.

More than 60 exhibitors and 30 speakers will take part in this year’s forum and will provide information on the realities and trends affecting the principal theme for this year: “Inclusive Innovation: We create, we innovate and we revolutionize.”


Presented by Scotiabank and AT&T — with support from Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, as well as the Fondo Mixto of Mexico City, which together are proactively working on welcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender visitors to the country — the forum is the largest conference of its kind in Mexico and also seeks to support Mexico’s LGBT community, which has continued to position itself as an important part of the country’s cultural, political and economic landscape.

For the sixth year in a row, the LGBT Confex International Business & Tourism Forum will provide a meeting place for professionals and suppliers who see the LGBT community as an important market segment, as well as for businesses that offer an inclusive workplace. The Forum program includes exhibitions, business appointments, conferences, discussion panels, workshops, networking events, business meetings, a consumer trade show and a career fair.



For destinations, suppliers and other companies looking to sell to the LGBT market, LGBT Confex offers the largest and only opportunity to reach thousands of consumers, travel agents and tour operators who sell LGBT travel, products and services, as well as a delegation of LGBT-focused media, conventions and conference trade journalists, and B2B outlets that help participants reach an even wider audience through their coverage. LGBT Confex has received millions of dollars in international coverage every year through its initiatives via ENroute Communications, the conference’s public relations agency.

LGBT opinion leaders, both national and international, will be scheduled to participate in the Forum’s 10 platforms: Tourism, Corporate, Film, Academics, Fashion, Entrepreneurs, Technology, NGO and Media, as well as the most recent addition, Talent.
