Miami Air finally reaches new contract with flight attendants

Negotiations for better wages for Miami Air Flight Attendants began over 3 years ago in January 2015. In October 2017, Flight Attendants overwhelmingly authorized a strike.

Today, the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) ratified a new 5-year contract for immediate pay increases and per diem.

The new contract also calls for better work rules for the over 100 Flight Attendants represented by the union.

Miami Air is a charter airline, privately owned by TSI Holding Company of St. Louis, Missouri, operating flights for vacation tour companies and major sports teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers, Miami Dolphins and Heat, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New Jersey Devils.
