Nassau Paradise Island weathers the storm and is open for business

Under warm, sunny skies, the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board and Paradise Island Tourism Development Association report that the destination is open for business and welcoming guests following last week’s passing of Hurricane Matthew.

Member hotels and resorts were well-prepared for the storm and sustained minimal damage. Clean-up efforts began immediately following the storm’s passing on Friday and Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) reopened on Saturday with all airlines having now resumed their normal schedules.

As always, travelers are encouraged to contact their respective airlines and accommodations providers for the most up-to-date information.
