NATAS President Assumes ASEANTA Presidency Ahead Of ATF 2017 In Singapore

In the run up to the 36th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2017 to be held in Singapore from 16th to 20th January 2017 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Mr. Devinder Ohri – President of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore – (NATAS) has assumed the Presidency of ASEANTA – the ASEAN Tourism Association.

Singapore is honoured to host ATF 2017, themed – “Shaping our Tourism Journey Together”. Alongside ASEAN’s 50th anniversary in 2017, the annual event will involve all 10 member nations of ASEAN in a cooperative regional effort to promote ASEAN as a single tourism destination. The weeklong event comprises TRAVEX (a business to business Exhibition and Exchange where tourism Buyers from around the world systematically meet tourism Sellers from the ASEAN region in pre-arranged or scheduled appointments), ASEAN Tourism Conference – (ATC) – a showcase Seminar where invited Speakers, Moderators and Panellists can exchange views on the latest industry developments and challenges, National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) Meetings and ASEAN Tourism Minister’s Meetings.
