Kathy Mason, the newly-appointed Chairperson of the Seychelles Tourism Board this week met with Alain St.Ange, the island’s Minister responsible for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, in the presence of Sherin Francis, the CEO of the Tourism Board.
Kathy Mason is a respected personality in the islands’ tourism industry and was recently appointed to head the Board of the Seychelles Tourism Board. She joined the tourism industry soon after the opening of the Seychelles International Airport and has remained a key leading player.
The meeting was the first since her appointment, and it was to appreciate the vision of the Ministry responsible for Tourism. “Kathy Mason has a wealth of experience, and she has always believed in the need to see the consolidation of the existing public-private sector partnership in the running of Seychelles Tourism. We are sure to benefit from her leadership,” said Minister St.Ange after the meeting.
The first Tourism Board meeting with Kathy Mason as Chairperson is set to take place next week.
