New tourism Postgraduate Research Scholarships launched: Study in beautiful Naples Italy!

Would you like to spend a year in beautiful Naples, Italy, and collaborate with some of the top tourism research institutions for:

– Studying innovative responses to the challenge of tourism impact on climate change?
– Exploring sustainable travel behavior in historic cultural heritage destinations?
– Working on content management applied to knowledge transfer in tourism?

Today, SUNx, t-Forum, and IRiSS announced the call for nominations for 3 new Postgraduate Research Scholarships for Tourism Innovation for Resilience. These are a legacy to Maurice Strong, Sustainable Development pioneer, and created in the partnership spirit of SDG 17.

Applicants may be eligible for one of 3 scholarships awarded by CNR-IRISS, SUNx, and t-FORUM, which fund the program to link academia with business, to spur innovation in travel and tourism, and to build climate resilience.

The successful applicants will receive an amount equal to €9,000, paid in 6 instalments. No other expenses will be charged on the budget of the program.

Interested post-graduates can apply for only one of the following scholarships:

1. Sustainable Behavior of Cultural Heritage Visitors
2. Impact-Travel and Climate Resilience
3. Social Media and Knowledge Transfer in Tourism

In addition, 60 top applicants will be enrolled in the SUNx lifetime learning program. The scholarships holders will work at CNR-IRISS in Naples, Italy.
