Oman’s national airline increases air service between Muscat and Jakarta

Oman’s national airline, Oman Air, announced plans to increase air service on its Muscat-Jakarta route this summer, beginning on July 2, 2017. Flights will grow from 4 weekly to 6 weekly.

Muscat is considered the pulsating heart of Oman, and it is linked to Port Sultan Qaboos by Muttrah Corniche where visitors can view the variety of nature, from golden beaches to mountainous heights, and golden sand dunes. It has a unique intermingling of ancient cultural heritage and modern style. Visitors will see houses, gates, old markets, small shops, and winding roads redolent of authentic history, side by side with modern markets, shops, buildings, and streets stamped with modern architecture.

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia and is composed of more than 13,000 islands with a population of over 180 million. There are more than 300 ethnic groups speaking 200 different languages here, making it a true melting pot of ethnicities. Jakarta is the principal gateway to the rest of Indonesia and a designated tourist area. From here, there are many modes of transportation to visit other Indonesian destinations.
