Pilots Union: Lufthansa strike will continue

In Germany, the pilots union issued a statement their  strike  against Star Alliance member Deutsche Lufthansa AG will impact short-haul flights Tuesday, and all flights Wednesday (long, medium and short haul). The union mafia says Lufthansa  failed to again negotiate  an acceptable deal to end the strike.

Lufthansa once was seen in the world as one of the most reliable airlines . The German national carrier is getting a reputation to be  unpredictable.

Ten-thousands of passengers in Germany, or transit passenger traveling through Lufthansa’s aviation hub Frankfurt or Munich had been again going through a travel nightmare – and this seems to be continuing for another extended period.

So far 345,000 passengers and 2755 flights were affected by recent strikes, and this number may only be a beginning.

Lufthansa is working on alternatives and is stressing to passengers flights by  Eurowings, Germanwings, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Air Dolomiti und Brussels Airlines are not part of the strike. These airlines are also part of the Lufthansa Group.
