Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is proud to welcome the world’s golfing elite to Doha, as they compete for the Mother of Pearl Trophy in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament, to be held at the Doha Golf Club from 26 to 29 January 2017.
QDF is the official retail partner of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters; a thrilling four-day event affectionately known as ‘the pearl in Qatar’s sporting crown’. The prestigious tournament is part of the European Tour and provides competitors an exciting and challenging environment, with Doha Golf Club playing host to the longest par 72 on the tour. Players attending this year’s 20th anniversary Commercial Bank Qatar Masters include Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer, Andy Sullivan, Chris Wood, Ernie Els and Paul Lawrie. A total of more than 100 players will compete for the trophy and prize fund of US$2.5 million.

QDF is celebrating the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters with its own booth located in the Public Village. Enthusiasts can take a ‘golf-pro selfie’ to share with friends on social media, or enjoy an interactive journey to discover QDF’s multi-award winning Duty Free shopping experience, hosted by QDF’s very own staff.

The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters has been held in Doha since 1998 and is held at the beginning of each year as part of the European Tour. QDF has been the official retail partner of since 2009, with the event attracting over 25,000 people every year.
