Rossiya Airlines adds Moscow Vnukovo-Barcelona route

Rossiya Airlines will begin a seasonal summer route between Moscow Vnukovo and Barcelona, Spain, beginning on May 20 and ending on September 30 of this year. Flights will be via an Airbus A319 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

This Russian airline is headquartered in Saint Petersburg with its hub at Pulkovo Airport and branches at Moscow Vnukovo International Airport, Rostov-on-Don Airport, and Orenburg Tsentralny Airport.

Russia bursts with blooms in the spring and summer after the snow melts, revealing manicured lawns at many of Russia’s most famous palaces, parks, and gardens. The country is pleasantly warm in the summer, with temperatures known to rival the Mediterranean in July and August.

During mid-summer in the northern city of Saint Petersburg, visitors can experience the phenomenon of “the white nights,” when there is no real darkness.
