Seychelles participated at holiday show in Ireland

The Seychelles was present at the Holiday World Show in Dublin, Ireland from the 27th January to the 29th January 2017 – now in its 28th year.

The three day event transforms the RDS Simmons court into a hub of exciting and vibrant travel city with a range of destinations from Americas to Asia, from Africa to Europe and cruise companies providing the consumer with a wide choice of destinations to choose from for their a once in a life time trip, a honeymoon, wedding, family holiday or a romantic get away

This year new destinations participated for the first time such as Argentina, Japan National Tourist Organization, Grand American Adventures, Pristine Mountain Adventure, Explore St. Louis, Bespoke India Travel and Botswana Tourism Organization

The Holiday World Show 2017 also played host to the free Eoghan Corry Travel Summit in association with Dublin Airport facilitated by renowned travel journalist Eoghan Corry where leading industry experts share their expertise and answer visitors’ questions on topics such as The Americas, Cruises, Ski and Snow Holidays, Solo Holidays and Exotic Destinations, as well as Home Holidays. These informative and enjoyable seminars prove hugely popular with visitors every year.

Major travel companies such as Trailfinders, Classic Resorts, Travel Mood and Sunway were present at the show offering the visitors amazing deals and confirming bookings on site at the show with their various reservations teams and booking engines.

The Seychelles was represented at the show by Ms. Eloise Vidot – Marketing Executive and Ms. Tinaz Wadia – Manager – responsible for UK and Ireland with a dedicated Seychelles stand

‘The holiday show in Ireland is a well-attended event by consumers intending to travel and keen to book their holidays. A fantastic forum for both the travel companies and consumer alike. A platform for the exhibitors to showcase their products and for the consumers to be inspired. We have seen a steady growth in visitor arrivals from Ireland these past few years. Last year we experienced a 42% increase year on year. With numerous airlines now accessing Dublin such as Emirates, Etihad, Ethiopian, Turkish Airlines, and with Qatar Airways having announced that it is set to commence flights as of 12th June 2017 – figures from Ireland to Seychelles is set to increase’ Ms. Wadia said.
