Following the devastating landslides which have claimed over 200 lives and injuring many others in the Southwestern region of the Republic of Colombia, notably in the city of Mocoa, Seychelles President Danny Faure has on behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Seychelles expressed heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to H.E. Juan Manuel Santos, President of the Republic of Colombia.
In his message, President Faure said that the thoughts and prayers of the people of Seychelles are with the families of the victims who have tragically lost their lives. “We wish all relief agencies every success in the rescue efforts and assure you, Your Excellency, of our unwavering support during this difficult period of loss and suffering,” said the Seychelles President.
