Skal International Hamilton Club represented at Hotel Association of Canada Conference

President of the Hotel Association of Canada, Susie Grynol, CAE, and Frank Vismeg, Managing Director of the Courtyard by Marriott in Burlington (coming Spring 2018) and current Vice President of Skål International Hamilton Club, are attended the 25th annual Hotel Association of Canada Conference held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre with an array of interesting speakers and over 425 delegates – a record for the best attendance since 2005. As President, Susie represents hotels from coast to coast and is the hotel industry’s chief advocate and spokesperson.

Also attending were Olivera Radisic, General Manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Hamilton and Secretary of the Skål International Hamilton Club; Ilona Rehberg, Director of the General Tourism Branch Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada; Syed Gardezi, General Manager of the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel; and Jenny Wilkins, General Manager of the Waterfront Hotel Burlington and member of the Skål International Hamilton Club.


Skål is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, as well as the industry’s managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional, and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest.

Today, Skål International has approximately 15,000 members in 400 clubs throughout 80 nations. Most activities occur at the local level, moving up through national committees, under the umbrella of Skål International, headquartered at the General Secretariat in Torremolinos, Spain.
