Tokyo is being promoted as a “wonderland” in a city promotion for 2017, which was revealed in New Delhi, India, today, on January 30, by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Senior tourism and other officials of the city, which is to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, interacted with the media, pointing out that more Indians should come to Tokyo for the games and afterwards as well.
Tokyo city is making great efforts to add and improve its many attractions, and to entice Indian visitors.
Culture, theme parks, and gardens, plus shopping options are some of the reasons to visit the city, which has many restaurants serving Indian and vegetarian cuisine, along with food from other nations as well.
To make the presentation more interesting, the authorities showed videos of people from India working in Tokyo, listing the many attractions of the city, including safety and cleanliness.
The seminar was very well organized, complete with a tea ceremony, magic show, and dances.
