Tourism and Holiday Expo scheduled this week in Tanzania

The third edition of Tanzania’s painstaking Swahili International

Tourism Expo (SITE) will be taking place Friday to Sunday this week

with expectations to attract 150 tourist companies from Africa, India,

United Kingdom, United States of America and Germany.

Organized by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), the three-day

international show had attracted exhibitors from 13 several African

destinations and 186 agents various parts of the world.

Taking place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre

(JINCC) in Tanzanian capital and commercial city of Dar es Salaam, the

SITE event will be marked with seminars and business discussions among

exhibitors, participants and travel trade visitors.

The Swahili International Tourism Expo is expected to focus on inbound

and outbound travel business to and within Africa. Hundreds of Travel

and Tourism professionals from all over the world are expected during

the exhibition days.

A well-managed Hosted Buyer program which showcases the travel

possibilities in within and outside Tanzania has been planned. A

series of seminars will be conducted under the world outstanding tour

and tourism experts on special topics, Tanzania tourist Board Chief

Executive Officer Devota Mdachi said.
