Tourists visiting Hawaii in droves but spending less

Despite the fact that scores of tourists are still flocking to the islands of Hawaii, they are coming with less cash in their pockets and limiting their spending while on vacation. That may be why the lines to inexpensive noodle spots and convenience stores are longer than they are at places like The Cheesecake Factory. Spending for July 2021 was down nearly 7% from pre-COVID-19 levels in July 2019.
