Two travel giants take sleep to new heights

Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, Inc., today announced the latest in a series of sleep offerings that promise a better slumber for travelers, extending beyond just the guestroom.

Challenging the staid in-flight sleep experience, Westin continues to power ahead in partnership with Delta Air Lines with the new Westin Heavenly In-Flight Blanket rolling out in Delta’s First Class cabins starting mid-November.

Inspired by design elements of the signature Westin Heavenly® Bed, this super-soft blanket will help ensure that travelers rest easy in the clouds. This marks an expansion to the Westin Heavenly In-Flight program; Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding, the iconic, luxurious white comforters and hypoallergenic pillows, have been featured in Delta One cabins since 2013.

“Westin has been leading the hospitality industry in giving guests the best night’s sleep since we introduced the iconic Heavenly® Bed more than 15 years ago,” said Brian Povinelli, Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts. “Since then Westin continues to innovate, enhancing the sleep experience for guests: from in-room amenities and dining options to meaningful partnerships that promote better sleep before, during and after their stay with us.”
