Vietjet recently launched two new routes connecting Hanoi with Taipei and Hanoi with Hue at Noi Bai International Airport, as part of its network expansion plan to meet the increasing travel demand of individuals and tourists which will in turn help to boost the regional trade and integration.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Le Hoai Trung; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai; Head of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hanoi, Richard Shih Rui Chi; dignities from Hanoi city and Thua Thien Hue province as well as leaders from Vietnam government attended and witnessed the inaugural flight ceremony. All passengers onboard the flights received exclusive gifts from Vietjet.
The Hanoi-Taipei route will be operated on a daily basis from 30 October 2016 with the flight time of 3 hours per leg. The flight takes off from Hanoi at 14:05 and lands in Taipei at 18:00 (local time). The return flight departs at 19:10 and arrives in Hanoi at 21:20 (Vietnam time).
The Hanoi-Hue route on the other hand will commence operation on 1 November 2016 with the flight time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. The flight departs from Hanoi at 12:35 and arrives in Hue at 13:45. The return flight will take off from Hue at 14:20 and arrive in Hanoi at 15:30 (local time).
