Vietjet opens Hanoi – Busan route

Vietjet expects the new route will offer passengers greater travel options with economical fares on entertaining flights

Vietjet today announces tickets sale for the new Hanoi – Busan route which is set to debut on 16 December 2016.

The route will be operated daily (except Thursdays) with a flight duration of four hours thirty minutes per leg. Flights take off from Hanoi at 1:00am and land in Busan at 7:00am (local time). Return flights depart Busan at 8:00am (local time) and arrive in Hanoi at 11:05am.


Speaking at a Conference in Busan City, South Korea, Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh said, “Currently, Vietjet is operating four routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong with Seoul and the dynamic city of Busan in Korea. Vietjet expects the new route will offer passengers greater travel options with economical fares on entertaining flights. Our desire is for passengers to experience a fantastic journey from the point of boarding our aircraft.”

Busan – the second largest city in Korea – is the latest stop on Vietjet’s international network. The route is aimed at facilitating passengers’ leisure and business travel needs with reasonable fares.



Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam which is also known as “City for Peace” by UNESCO is famous for its civilized peaceful culture.

Tourists will see in Hanoi a perfect mixture of the old and the new, the Occidental and the Oriental. Moreover, the capital is a safe and promising venue for the international business community. From Hanoi, tourists can easily fly to other key destinations in Vietnam as well as to regional countries within one to three hours.
