WTCE: The Disney Institute to headline Passenger Experience Week 2017

World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo

Airline representatives will be given an exclusive insight into the inner workings of one of the most recognized brands on the planet at this year’s Passenger Experience Conference, part of the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE), which takes place in Hamburg, 4-6 April 2017.

Jeff James, Vice President and General Manager at The Disney Institute, the professional development arm of The Walt Disney Company, will headline at the Airline Forum, part of the Passenger Experience Conference on 3 April, with a speech to airline delegates on how to create experiences that matter – for both customers and staff.

Following the Airline Forum, speakers from Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Airbus, gategroup, American Airlines and United Airlines will provide conference delegates with insights on a wide range of topics relevant to three key streams: Generating Revenue, Comfort & Wellbeing and The Connected Journey.

The Passenger Experience Conference marks the official start of Passenger Experience Week 2017 followed by two co-located events, WTCE and the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), which open their doors on 4 April at the Hamburg Messe in Germany.

WTCE, which returns to Hamburg to celebrate its sixth year, will bring together professionals from across the air, rail and wider travel industry to source the latest products, attend a wide range of networking events and view demonstrations from world-class chefs.

With more than 320 exhibitors, companies like the Flying Food Group, a large-scale catering company providing airline catering meals and snacks for over 70 leading airlines; Global Inflight Products, a leading provider of onboard products and services; and 121 In-flight Catering, suppliers of premier catering to international commercial airlines with headquarters at New York’s JFK airport, will showcase their latest product innovations.

The show will also offer an unrivalled educational platform for learning and networking. WTCE’s popular Taste of Travel Theatre will once again return with free-to-attend informative sessions delivered by leading industry experts, including Michelin star chef, Mark Sargeant, who will share insights on his collaboration with American Airlines as part of their celebrity chef partnership program.
