China West Air, a low-cost airline based in New North Zone, Chongqing, China, plans to expand operations at Hefei for 2016-17 Winter season. Hefei, formerly known as Hofei, Luzhou, or Luchow, is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in Eastern China. A prefecture-level city, it is the political, economic, and cultural center of Anhui.
China West is based in Chongqing – Jiangbei. The airline currently has 25 aircrafts, two more planes are on order.

The carrier will add 6 new daily flights and 5 new routes. Planned operation will commence on October 30, 2016.
Hefei – Guiyang
Hefei – Nanning
Hefei – Sanya
Hefei – Shantou
Hefei – Zhuhai
The airline will also introduce a 3rd daily rotation on Hefei – Chongqing route starting on the same date.
