Declaring an emergency: Germania A321 destination Tel Aviv

The pilot radio message is an emergency call. Germania flight ST 6256 took off from Duesseldorf, Germany this morning on a 3 1/2 hour flight to Tel Aviv.

Shorly after Take off the Germania passenger Airbus 321-22 with the registration code D-ASTW declared an emergency and landed in Munich an hour later.

eTN tried to contact Germania, but the airlines reservation and press center was not open before 8.30 am German time. eTN also tried to get Munich Airport Press relations an update. According to an airport spokesperson a medical emergency developed after take off and the captain decided to land the plane in Munich. In the meantime Germania flight ST6256 again took off from Munich for a 3 hour flight to Tel Aviv, Israel.

No details are known but it appears the Airbus landed safely.

According to the airlines website Germania is one of Germany‘s longest established airlines and based in Berlin.
