Finland’s Kämp Collection Hotels invests €200 million in its future development

Premium hotel group is investing almost 200 million Euros in a major hotel expansion program

Helsinki-based premium hotel group, Kämp Collection Hotels, is investing almost 200million Euros in a major hotel expansion program, including the launch of the new St. George Hotel and the extension of the renowned Hotel Haven situated overlooking Helsinki’s South Harbor.

The group has seen a 20% increase in revenues in the first half of 2016, fuelled by popular demand after continuing improvements in its existing hotels and a major marketing campaign establishing Helsinki as a must-visit destination for travelers.

The St. George Hotel, located in the center of the city, will epitomize global luxury living and is aimed at business and high-end leisure travelers seeking the best in Nordic design. The hotel is due to open in the summer, as Finland celebrates 100 years since its independence. A new wing is also being added to the popular Hotel Haven, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, with 55 new rooms and suites opening in early 2017.

Kamp Collection Hotels has also added to its experienced hotel teams, with nine new General Managers joining the group since adverts were placed in January this year.

“I am delighted the recruitment campaign received so much attention and that it has attracted so much talent to our group,” says Laura Tarkka, CEO of Kämp Collection Hotels. “We are embarking on an exciting new era, positioning our company for substantial future growth.”

The new managers are:

Hotel Kämp – Tuomas Liewendahl, GM
