International Hotel and Restaurant Association condemns terrorist attack in Istanbul

The President of the International Hotel and Restaurant Association (IH&RA) sent the following statement to eTN.travel in response to the most recent terrorist attack in Istanbul.

I am shocked as well as members of my Board about the latest terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey. I do present all my sincere condolences to the people of Turkey and the government of Turkey on my name, as well as the name of my Board and all members of IH&RA, to the families of the martyrs’ victims of this sad attack.

We need to work together as I did say often and coordinate our efforts to stop the acts of these criminals everywhere possible.

I do believe in Turkey – and the strong, united, Democrat, Republican – to face this issue and bring these criminals to justice.
