Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach advances to Green Globe Gold Membership


Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach has been awarded the internationally recognized Green Globe certification for the fifth year in a row, as a result of their CSR and energy saving initiatives.

The hotel’s rating has increased from last year to Gold Membership and the property was recognized for its many initiatives performed throughout the year, which include the participation in several CSR activities and donations to charities.

Moreover, the hotel has managed to reduce carbon emissions by 22.7%, save electricity by 5.41% and conserve water by 4.82% compared to last year.

The Green Globe Certification Standard is a structured assessment of the sustainability performance of travel and tourism businesses and their supply chain partners. The Green Globe Certification Standard provides hotel and resort organizations with a framework to conduct a comprehensive assessment of their environmental sustainability performance, through which they can monitor improvements and achieve certification.
