Nepal Tourism Summit took over Seattle tourism today

The Nepal Tourism Summit, organized by the New York-based Travelmarketing Network, which is owned by the eTN Corporation and part of this publication, finished the Nepal Summit in Seattle, Washington, USA, today, June 22, 2018.

Seattle, no stranger to majestic mountains, warmly welcomed Nepal for this trade and media summit to promote tourism to Nepal.

Travel agents, tour operators, and journalists had the chance to meet with top executives and representatives from the Nepal Tourism Board – Nardini Lane Tapa, Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions, and Eubanks Rana, Senior Manager Tourism Marketing and Promotions – along with a Nepal specialist in Seattle from the office of TCS World Travel, a leader in private jet expeditions.

“Attendees learned about how Nepal is more than incredible mountains and, of course, Seattle’s Mt. Everest is testament to majestic mountains. I saw keen interest from a number of travel professionals in the romance market within Nepal. Destination weddings and honeymoons are truly remarkable in Nepal,” noted Mel Webster, Moderator of the 2018 US Nepal Tourism Board Summit.

Organized by Peerspace, travel agents and attending media from the Seattle area were treated to a fantastic lunch provided by The Everest Kitchen, specializing in Nepal, Indian, and Tibetan cuisine.

The event ended with a prize giveaway for an all-inclusive trip to Nepal for 2, and the lucky winner for this Seattle event was Monique Brigham of Plumeria Breezes Travel.
