Seatrade Cruise Global 2017 announces State of the Global Industry participants

Seatrade Cruise Global, the leading global business-to-business event for the cruise industry, in partnership with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), announces the 2017 State of the Global Cruise Industry participants.

This year’s panel, featuring executives from the world’s leading cruise lines, will take on a new format moderated by CNBC Reporter Susan Li. It will once again be held in Port Everglades Terminal Four, adjacent to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center.

“We are delighted to announce Susan Li as our moderator for the 2017 State of the Global Cruise Industry,” shares Robyn Duda, Portfolio Director for Seatrade Cruise Global. “Her knowledge and expertise in bringing the most important business news stories into our offices and living rooms on a daily basis will be welcomed at this year’s conference.”

Susan Li will moderate the State of the Global Cruise Industry Panel from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 14 March, 2017. Setting the course of the cruise industry’s premier annual event, the panel will commence with four innovative CruiseTalks on key topics, delivered by the most influential executives in the cruise industry. Technology & Innovation, Shipbuilding, Destination Planning, and Environmental & Safety Practices will be discussed individually by the following leaders:

• Frank Del Rio, President & CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
• Arnold Donald, President & CEO, Carnival Corporation & plc
• Richard Fain, Chairman & CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
• Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman, MSC Cruises

As the individual CruiseTalks conclude, the four executives will join Ms. Li for a panel discussion addressing the current hot topics in the industry. The expanding Asian market, ever changing geo-political climate, growing global fleet capacity and more will be items of conversation for the group. Always a programming highlight for Seatrade Cruise Global, the State of the Global Cruise Industry will once again feature a full-house of attendees and media covering the keynote event.

“The State of the Global Cruise Industry always delivers a thought-provoking conversation, and I look forward to the new format featuring these cruise leaders addressing one specific topic individually that they are passionate about in the cruise world,” said Cindy D’Aoust, President and CEO of Cruise Line International Association (CLIA). “These iconic industry leaders will deliver engaging dialogue and CNBC’s Susan Li will bring out the best in each of them.”
